TYPICAL GRADUATION DAY SCHEDULE 08:30 am -10:00am Grad rehearsal at the Performing Arts Center- afterwards, Grads are on their own until 3:45 pm. Pictures at Polson Park generally happen around 1:00pm - this is not organized by the school. Be aware that parking is very limited in the park. The Grad rehearsal will start at 8:30 am sharp in the VPAC. It is of utmost importance that everyone is there on time. A lot of important information is shared. This is the difference between knowing what you will be doing and just stumbling along. Remember, no appointments before 10 am. Cap and gowns will be given out the day before the rehearsal in time for the Grad photo. Students are responsible for their cap and gowns until the next day. On Grad day, take any family photos prior to the ceremony as the students must return their stole and gown immediately after the ceremony. The group photo will take at the Performing Arts Center by the creek on June 1st.. Please be there on time so the photographer has plenty of time to arrange students. Come in your cap and gown. Bring your dress clothes to the VPAC. There will be racks to hang them on. Rooms will be locked during the ceremony. You will need to have a change of clothes after the ceremony as your gown must be returned in the change room. Those not attending the banquet will exit the VPAC after the ceremony. The banquet and prom will follow the ceremony at the Vernon Lodge. Class historians and toastmasters as well as the grad song will be chosen at the spring Grad retreat. **Please note**: Banquet tickets will go on sale the week prior to Grad and the tickets will be handed out at the grad rehearsal on June 2nd. SUPERGRAD Grads, encourage your parents to join the Supergrad committee as they do all the planning and fundraising. The more fundraising that's done by the Grads, the more activities can be done at Supergrad. Stay tuned for further info.
